We offer a free survey and report which will include a meter testing of damp levels, a report explaining causes of problem and a recommendation on the actions needed to rectify the problem. In most cases the affected areas will require the removal of wall finishes and stripping of plaster. We then treat the areas by means of Damp-proof injection techniques through 12mm holes drilled through the external and internal brickwork. The holes are then injected with damp proofing solutions compliant with the British Standard BS5750. This action will alleviate the problems associated with rising damp and lateral damp. Our damp proofing team liaise with our general building section to inform them of when follow up work such plastering and joinery can be completed.
